« Hospy », the festival Mascot
In 2008, we introduced our new mascot during the opening ceremony of the festival. A contest was launched in elementary schools across the region to find a name for our mascot. After receiving more than 30 different names, the organizing committee decided to go with «Hospy» proposed by the young Pierre-Luc Savoie of Bathurst. By winning the contest, he won $ 100.
